An on-ramp at a major junction on the Southern Motorway (SH1) will be closed for two weeks, NZTA has confirmed.
As work continues on the Papakura to Drury project, the southbound on-ramp at the Drury Interchange will be closed from 9pm, September 13 until September 28.
Motorists can travel north to the Papakura Interchange to access the southbound lane of the motorway. Alternatively, they are advised to head south to the Ramarama Interchange via State Highway 22, Great South Road and Ararimu Road before accessing the southbound lane using the Ramarama on-ramp. The closure is required while a new stormwater main is installed. The stormwater main will be integral to treating run-off from the motorway, NZTA says.
