From Monday (September 21) Drury’s Norrie Road will be closed to eastbound traffic due to the installation of new stormwater connections.
Businesses and properties can still be accessed from the Drury roundabout directly into Norrie Road, heading west, the NZ Transport Authority (NZTA) has confirmed. Pedestrian access is open on the southern side of Norrie Road.
The road will reopen Friday, October 9.
In response to feedback about parking along Tui Street, carparks around the Drury Hall and Library will be accessible, especially during the election period when the hall will be used as a polling booth.
The temporary entry point for Tui Street is to be moved further north on Great South Road due to construction activities.
