Local dance troupes fundraising for Aussie comp

Three crews from Pukekohe’s Groovit Dance Studio are heading to the Gold Coast on October 8, where they’ll compete on the world stage at the Upgrade Hip Hop Competition at Sea World.

To fund their trip, Kodak, Kurfew and 21Twenty are holding a community fundraising carwash – September 19, 9am-3pm at the Groovit studio, 6 Crosbie Road (off Manukau Road), Pukekohe.

The dancers from all three crews will be out washing cars, selling sausages, baked goodies and raffle tickets.

So, whether your car is due for a wash, you fancy a feed or want to try your luck in a raffle, head along to the Groovit studio to help these talented young hip-hoppers jump the Ditch.
