Pukekohe High School – firefighters on site, no smoke, no fire

Two fire engines attended Pukekohe High School this afternoon, at approximately 2.45pm, and students were evacuated, however there is no cause for alarm.

“There was an evacuation, but it is a false alarm,” Fire and Emergency NZ (FENZ) shift supervisor Garreth Lewis says.

“We have two fire engines there, but they have confirmed it is a false alarm and will be leaving very shortly.”
