Motorists are being advised to expect delays following a multi-vehicle crash on the Southern Motorway this morning, Counties Manukau Police have confirmed.
The crash involving three vehicles, near the Papakura on-ramp, was reported to police just before 8am.
“Southbound traffic is down to one lane and major delays are expected,” police say. “It appears one person has received injuries. Motorists are being advised to seek an alternative route or expect delays while the scene is cleared.”
Update (9.55am): the motorway is now clear, police have confirmed.
