One person is in critical condition after an incident where multiple vehicles were damaged near Patumahoe tonight.
In a statement, police said cordons were in place on Patumahoe Road, with the road closed between Hunter Road and Gun Club Road.
One person is in critical condition, and another is in a serious condition.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) shift manager said a call was received at 6.43pm about a crash involving six vehicles. FENZ responded with a fire truck and two rescue tenders.
