Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a number of young women in relation to a serious assault incident at Halloween last year.
During the incident at Morningside Train Station on the evening of October 31, 2025, four victims were assaulted on and around a train carriage and platform, police say.
An extensive investigation has been carried out, and two young people have been arrested,
However, police say they’re still working to identify some of the people present at the time.
“We’re now releasing images of several young women who we believe may have information that could assist our investigation.
“If you recognise anyone pictured, or have information that could help identify them, please get in touch with police.”
Police say information can be provided by: Calling them on 105 and quoting case file number 251101/2119 or providing information anonymously via Crime Stoppers on free phone 0800 555 111.
“Police remind the public not to approach or attempt to identify these people directly,” they say.
