It wasn’t the finest weather as the Counties Manukau Heat opened their Farah Palmer Cup (FPC) season at Navigation Homes Stadium on Saturday (August 29). Unfortunately, a 14-0 lead couldn’t be converted into a win for the Heat as Waikato claimed bragging rights in this Battle of the Bombays, winning 28–19. Susie Hare (Pukekohe Franklin Camera Club) was sideline capturing the action.
