The world may not march to the beat of just one drum, but the collective efforts of Kids’ Beats regularly have Frankliners’ feet a-tapping.
During one of the group’s most recent performances more than 80 young drummers – from beginners banging buckets through to seniors using top quality instruments – showcased their skills with original tunes and by playing along to Kiwi classics at the Waiuku Town Hall.
However, the music is far from over – instructed by Waiuku’s Chris Dawson (the major drummer?), these passionate percussionists are liable to roll up again soon.
