A person has died due to a single vehicle crash east of Maramarua this morning, police have confirmed.
As reported previously, the crash occurred on State Highway 25, shortly before 11am this morning.
SH23 remains closed between Canal East Road and Pouarua Road North while the Serious Crash Unit conducts a scene examination.
