Ag Day judges are giving children, parents, teachers and caregivers inside tips on what makes a winning calf at a Calf Club training day this Saturday (September 5), at Pukekohe Showgrounds.
Children are encouraged to bring their calves along and receive hands-on advice from the judges who will be scoring them on the day.
The Franklin Calf Judges Association is also on the hunt for new judges – the time commitment is minimal and has a big impact on rural school kids.
