A person injured in a yet-to-be-identified incident this morning has been transported to Auckland City Hospital in a serious condition, Hato Hone St John has now confirmed.
One rapid response unit, two operations managers and one ambulance responded and treated a patient ‘at the Mount Wellington Highway’.
As advised by police earlier, emergency services were called to the incident at 6.30 this morning.
