Did you know that Mai Lighthouse began because of a community survey?
Back in 1979, our community was asked what it needed and the answer to this simple question was clear. The result was the Family Support Centre in Pukekohe, the organisation
that would become what we are today.
Forty-six years later and we’re asking this same, simple but important question again.
Our Matariki Community Survey 2026 is now live and we want to hear from you all whānau, community members, local leaders and anyone else who calls Franklin or the northern Waikato home.
This is because we believe our community already holds the answers. The wisdom, the lived experience, the solutions they don’t come from us, they come from you.
So, our job is simply to listen, and to ensure that what we hear shapes the mahi we do during the year ahead.
Our survey takes five minutes to complete, it’s completely anonymous and every single response matters.
