Jivan Produce Ltd – Tractor Operator

Jivan Produce Ltd is a vegetable growing company based in Pukekohe. We grow a variety of crops such as potatoes, onions and brassicas for local and export markets.

We are looking for a tractor/harvester operator to join the team full time. Ideally you would have some experience in the industry and be confident with operating modern tractors equipped with technology such as GPS.

Some tasks that you would carry out include:

• Operating potato and onion harvesters
• Operating the potato planter
• Fertilizer spreading
• Cultivation
• Helping out with other tasks around the farm

The successful applicant will:

• Hold a class 1 license at the minimum
• Have previous experience with some of the tasks listed above
• Have the ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Be flexible with work hours as we do have to work in the weekend due to the weather or seasonal demands
• Be a NZ Citizen

This is not an entry level position so please only apply if you are competent tractor operator.
