In November, Signature Homes Papakura & Franklin moved to its new headquarters on Karaka Road. The Karaka Family Church at 458 Karaka Road was originally built at nearby Pokeno in 1890 and transported to its current location by a team of bullocks in 1917. Karaka Church continued operating as a place of worship until 2003, when it was sold into private ownership, later becoming a boutique gift shop.
Kerry says creating their new office space within this beautiful historic building was a great way to showcase products from many of their suppliers, and their new office is perfectly located within the heart of Franklin. The former retail space has been revamped as a meeting room and offices, while more office space has been created downstairs. Ben and Kerry along with their team of new home consultants, quantity surveyors, project managers, and the client and administration manager, all work from the Karaka site.
