On-ramps will be closed and delays expected as stormwater improvements are undertaken on the northernmost stretch of the Waikato Expressway, the New Zealand Transport Authority (NZTA) confirms.
Work will be conducted near the State Highway 2 interchange and Razorback Road, Pokeno, between 9pm and 5am this Sunday (September 27) until October 8, excluding Friday and Saturday nights.
The following ramps and links will also be closed during the works:
- Where SH2 links with SH1, heading north
- Where SH1 links with SH2, heading east
- Razorback Road northbound on ramp
Signposted detours will be in place.
Works are weather dependent and may change. Nearby properties may experience increased noise.
