More than 160 women from across Franklin and beyond gathered at Parklands, Pukekohe Golf Club for Franklin Law’s third annual Ladies Business Lunch – another sold-out event celebrating local women, business and community.
The event was made possible through the generous support of local sponsors.
Franklin Law was proud to have the continued backing of Franklin Times, People Ink, Loom Shared Spaces and Harleh Laser Clinic, alongside new sponsors this year including the Pukekohe Business Association, Mag and Turbo Pukekohe and Printifique Studios.
Prizes were also generously donated by Harleh Laser Clinic, Solitaire De Parnell and Sahrita, a Women’s Holistic Performance Coach.
Following two sold-out events in 2025, the continued demand for the lunch shows there is a real appetite for a different kind of business event – one without presentations, sales pitches or a formal agenda.
Instead, the afternoon was about bringing women together in a relaxed setting to enjoy each other’s company, make new connections and celebrate the contribution women make to businesses and the wider Franklin community.
Franklin Law partner Sarah Hagenson welcomed guests and reflected on what makes the event so special.
“There’s something pretty special about a room like this one”, Sarah said. “Thank you for supporting local, and thank you for being exactly the kind of women who make this town worth doing business in.”
Franklin Law partner Kelly Jones said the lunch was about creating relationships that continue well beyond the event itself.
“When women support one another, incredible things happen. These events are about building relationships, celebrating the success of local women and creating a network where everyone feels welcome and supported.”
The success of the third Ladies Business Lunch is a testament to the strength of the local business community, with women from a wide range of industries coming together to share conversations, experiences and plenty of laughs.
For Franklin Law, the event is about more than networking – it is about creating a space where local women can connect, celebrate one another and leave feeling supported and inspired.
