A person who sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash yesterday, August 14, has died, police confirm.
As previously reported, the crash on Tahuna Road, southeast of Te Kauwhata, was reported to emergency services just before 3pm yesterday.
One person died at the scene and a second injured person is in moderate condition.
Enquiries into the circumstances of crash are ongoing.
