Police say they’re attending a “serious incident” in a central Auckland suburb this Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to Manukau Road in Epsom at around 7.05am, police say.
“The public can be reassured that one person is in custody.
“There are cordons in place on Manukau Road between Ranfurly Road and Queen Mary Avenue.
“Campbell Crescent is closed to Puriri Drive.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area while enquiries are ongoing.”
Police say they will be releasing further information shortly.
