A pedestrian has suffered critical injuries due to a crash at the intersection of Buckland Road and Massey Road in Māngere.
The crash was reported to police shortly before 11am this morning. The pedestrian has been transported to hospital.
The Serious Crash Unit is on site and the road has been closed while they examine the scene. Detours are in place and police are advising motorists to expect delays and avoid the area if possible.
