Celebrate Matariki these school holidays at Warehouse Stationery with the free Matariki Canvas Creations workshop for children aged 5–12 years. This creative session invites young artists to paint their own beautiful Matariki night sky on canvas, inspired by the stars and traditions of the Māori New Year.
Using vibrant paints and plenty of imagination, children will create a unique piece of artwork to take home and treasure. It’s a fun and meaningful way to explore creativity while celebrating Matariki during the school holidays.
This workshop is free to attend, however registrations are currently sold out. Due to the popularity of the workshops, organisers recommend a maximum of one booking per child, per week.
Important note: A parent or guardian must remain with their child for the duration of the workshop. Parents and guardians do not need to book a place unless they are registering a participating child.
