Celebrate 15 years of Chrome at New Zealand’s biggest and baddest horsepower festival. The Prowear Chrome Horsepower Festival 2026 returns for three action-packed days, bringing together motorsport enthusiasts, car lovers, and families for an unforgettable weekend of high-octane entertainment.
Visitors can experience an exciting lineup of on-track action, including the Pro Burnout Series Competition, cruising sessions, roll racing, drifting, grip sessions, gymkhana, burnouts, and drag racing. Session schedules may vary depending on participant numbers and track conditions.
Away from the track, there is plenty to enjoy with Hard Park vehicle displays, Trade Alley, giveaways, official merchandise, food vendors, entertainment, special displays, and much more, making it a great day out for all ages.
Spectator tickets are available for purchase at the gate throughout the event.

- Friday 31 July: Hampton Downs Motorsport Park – 12:00pm–5:30pm
- Saturday 1 August: Hampton Downs Motorsport Park – 9:00am–5:30pm
- Saturday 1 August: NAPA Dragway, Meremere – Gates open 11:00am
- Sunday 2 August: Hampton Downs Motorsport Park – 9:00am–5:00pm
