APS Civil NZ is a growing civil construction company delivering high-quality civil projects across Auckland/ Waikato.
We are seeking someone who has experience in a kerbing crew, takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and can confidently deliver high-quality kerbing across a range of civil construction projects.
About The Role:
As a Kerbing Specialist, you will be working in a slipform kerbing crew, installing and finishing kerb and channel across residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting out and installing kerb and channel
- Operating kerbing machinery and associated equipment
- Reading plans, levels and specifications
- Ensuring accurate line, level and finish
- Preparing and maintaining work areas
- Working alongside civil construction crews to meet project deadlines
- Maintaining a high standard of health and safety
- Ensuring all work is completed to project specifications and quality standards
- Cleaning & maintaining your tools and equipment at the end of each shift
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in kerbing and civil construction
- Strong knowledge of kerb and channel installation, including slipform, cesspit surrounds, driveway crossings
- Experience operating kerbing equipment/machinery
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to health and safety
- Full NZ driver’s licence
- Class 2 and WTR would be an advantage
- Clean alcohol and pre-employment drug test
