Join Sue for a fun, hands-on worm farming workshop where kids can explore the fascinating world of tiger worms. This interactive session teaches how these tiny composting helpers turn food scraps into nutrient-rich fertiliser, with plenty of engaging, wiggly worm activities along the way.
Children will also create their own mini worm farm using recycled ice-cream containers to take home, learning practical sustainability skills in a fun and creative environment. The workshop is designed for children aged 5–10 and must be attended with an adult or caregiver.
Participants are asked to bring two clean 2L ice-cream containers with lids and a small amount of vegetable scraps if possible. Spares will be available on the day.
Each child must be accompanied by at least one adult, and registration is required for both child and caregiver.
Additional incentive: all confirmed participants receive a 50% discount voucher for a compost system and a free rat trap.
